
Danielle Daniel is a dynamic storyteller, speaker, actress, creative writer, director, and teaching artist whose vivacious style brings the stage to life with a whirlwind of characters. Through the art of storytelling and drama, she inspires imagination, fuels creativity, and empowers people of all ages.
Danielle has shared her craft in schools, colleges, and community organizations, using stories to entertain, educate, and motivate. Her acclaimed storytelling programs and tour shows have captivated audiences across the United States and Europe.
A recipient of numerous prestigious honors—including the Jim Dusso Artist Award, a Minnesota State Arts Board Fellowship, a LIN Grant, Many Voices, and a Jerome Fellowship from the Playwright Center—Danielle’s work reflects her deep commitment to the power of storytelling.
Her literary contributions include the children’s book The Ghost of Old Man Willie and three plays: Voodoo Child, Sugar and Spice: A Black Woman’s Melody, and The Magic of Laughter. Danielle believes that stories are as essential as air and water—we need them to survive.
